Michael’s 350‑Mile Ride for Alzheimer’s Society, in Memory of His Mum

21st July 2019

In July 2019, Michael took on an extraordinary challenge: cycling from London to Paris in just three days — around 350 miles of early starts, long climbs, and sheer determination.

This wasn’t just a personal test of endurance. Michael completed the ride in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, and he did it in memory of his mum, who he sadly lost to dementia. Riding in her honour gave every mile a deeper purpose, and the support he received along the way meant the world.

The route carried him from the bustle of London, through rolling countryside, across to France, and finally into the heart of Paris — an unforgettable finish after three demanding days on the bike.

It was a huge achievement, both physically and emotionally. We’re incredibly proud of Michael for taking on such a meaningful challenge and for raising awareness for a cause that touches so many families.

Here’s to many more miles — and to supporting the work that helps others facing dementia.
